Dom, you'd have had a very long day trying to pilot your rig in this snow. The plow truck, as heavy as it is, was doing its very best to ride on a layer of snow, refusing to get down to the ground. Slip and slide was how I managed to even make a dent on the driveway. If the blade even hinted at rising it Rose!
Geez that is crappy weather for this time of year. Hope it doesn't melt too fast. With our rain the snowpack in the hills has melted too fast are we've had flooding this last week. Roads are still closed.
I wonder how a 2wd ural with knobbies would do.....

DeleteThat snow looks horrible. Very dense.
ReplyDeleteYou nailed it Richard, about the most waterlogged snow I've ever seen. Wet, then froze.
DeleteTime to head south...
DeleteSo far I'm resisting that temptation.

ReplyDeleteWe're bracing for more flooding ourselves, plans are being formulated for no driveway access this week when it warms up too fast.
DeleteGood luck to you guys!
