It's Official Now

And 4 short hours later....

Yeah, Percy's out but not rolling on the ground this afternoon, though she would if she could.  I think my pants are too high and my boots not high enough.

Sleep well motorcycles....sleep well...

  1. So pretty, but it makes it a little difficult to stay upright on two wheels.

I guess I shouldn't complain about 44˚ and rain. It's not as pretty as the snow though.

    2. My Lumix exports MOV files, I'll have to start converting them first before uploading. Sorry it didn't work.

  3. It looks like you got more down there than we got up here! As of noon today, we're at about an inch.

  4. Erik, we drove into Red Wing late morning, had 3" then, most likely 6" now. On the 10 mile trip, 5 cars in the ditch, other spin outs that left tracks and on our way home, an 18 wheeler upside down with two vehicles on opposite sides of the road.

Roads are just the wrong temperature and very greasy.

    1. I'm so glad that I don't have to deal with cars in the ditch any more! The first big snowfall was always fun... people forgot how to drive in snow over the summer.

  5. You did get more than what fell here, but I haven't been up the peninsula yet. Might be more there. Our snowplow guys are the best. They live for this. Green Bay is another story.

The roads here were very slick last night.

I am just loving these snow photos. I thought those snow fences were supposed to keep the snow away. I guess your plan didn't work
