A good question Richard. We've had big melts in March, big storms as well. What made this different is that we've had near record snowfall, something we've not seen for quite awhile. This February was the snowiest month #2 on record.
A 70 degree day would be rare, the current temps are not. It was the rain and huge snowcover this time.
Shes meltin fast! We had 100 year flood like conditions and it never rained!
ReplyDeleteScott, we had rain on top of or more accurately, instead of. At least at first which seemed good.
DeleteNow that it's melting, let's get 'er done!!
so does the water freeze up enough at night to skate on? ;)
ReplyDeleteDom, only on the extreme edges. The current is strong, nothing level around here and it's all down hill.
DeleteIs this a really early break-up?

Wow Coop! Your driveway is something else right now. Hope you get home soon. Think of the riding you can do in the mud in a week or so.
ReplyDeleteI tried to respond to these Comments on my phone but it never recognizes me as me. Haven't figured that out yet.
DeleteYou are right, next weekend we'll be riding! Seems impossible from where we've only recently been!
