An Autumnal Afternoon.....and Punkins - 2023/10/04

A very windy and still relatively mild October afternoon today....but it's going to change.  We had mid-90's just a few days ago, record-setting warmth for a Minnesota 10th month.  To take advantage of one of the last easy riding days....and after a bunch of morning chores including an early morning walk with Arthur, it was time to go for a ride.  Ol' Blue was looking lonely, hoping its season hadn't come to an end.  Empathy was felt, I rolled it out and it popped right off on the 2nd kick.  I'm not sure if it's just mine or others of the '78 era are electrically anemic as well but my electric starter seems to demand too much power, leaving barely enough for the ignition spark so I've been kicking after weeks of sitting.  Once warm, the handy right thumb button works just fine, though it is a cold blooded beast.

This table was completely covered with this Spring's high water.

In Wabasha, the Silver Star Saloon is just around the corner.

The food has always been good to me.....

Across the street as part of  Wabasha's Harvest celebration....and some very heavy fruits.

Back to Lake City for desert.....

Earlier this week.....

Do not be alarmed, if it's not coffee.....water only.

Earlier today....
