First Hard Frost 2019

Breakfast this morning, perfectly and nicely fine for a frosty weekend morning.  I treat myself on the weekend, oat bread with peach jam from Sunrise Bakery (Pa's Road) and coffee.  Weekdays are nothing like this.

First ride for the clutchless 400 since early Spring, tough starting but we got it going.  I still enjoy it, fun because it's different.

Right at 50 miles, a nice mix of pavement and gravel.

The Special ....and it was.

Riding season isn't over yet but that SNOW word has been receiving more and more mention.

    1. Dom, our wispy grass is always so pretty and there's a lot of it in the neighborhood to admire. Our hard maple is the only one on our farm. Before we had the woodland logged a dozen years ago, there was one other. Oak, birch, a few black walnuts and cherry mostly round things out.

  4. Ya the pic with the orange tree in background is a winner. Some of those un paved roads look a lot better than some of our "paved" roads around here.

    1. Scott, most of our gravel is getting concrete-like by now. Late summer the townships top dress new gravel and it can make motorcycling more challenging. Most of it is worked in and almost blue line hard.
