Memorial Day Weekend - 2025/05/23

I/we didn't participate in any official ceremonies but while riding on Memorial Day I passed 6 cemeteries with huge attendance, reminding me to quietly say some prayers in my helmet for those that gave, giving the rest of us so much.  Thank you all for your sacrifices!

Our youngest, Hanna came and spent a few days with us, always wonderful to have her home.  Her effort brought a Botanical Garden to our living space.

The cactus garden isn't as aromatic....still beautiful though!

There are 4 four-leaf clovers...

Speaking of things alive, our wood ticks have been a horrible problem...Arthur's finding them all.

One of our school bus drivers is a competitive weight lifter having just returned from a successful competition in Norway.  Christy, this is for you!

Along the lines of busses and kids, many field trips this time of year.  Last week, the Science Museum in St. Paul

There was a take-out pizza over the weekend.....they knew I was coming.

A nice loop, the first real ride this season Sunday on the Guzzi.  On Memorial Day, a ride to Taylor, WI for their FFA Tractor Pull.

On the way....

Our friend Hoot was pulling with his 1850...

He was far from the only one.....

Making hitch height legal.....later with a LOT more excitement to follow!!!  (check out the very last item in this Post)

Various classes have different speed limits....

And it was time for Hoot to move the 1850 down the track....
