Lots going on, all good.
Last Sunday, Cam, Eric and I rode my long-neglected "85 miles of gravel" ride. It had been quite awhile so the Friday before I test rode it just to make sure that ongoing road construction wouldn't force a detour as well as I wanted to confirm that all 4 Minimum Maintenance roads were still open....and passable. The construction actually a benefit....a higher percentage of non-pavement in the 85.
All 4 Min Maint roads open as before, 3 of them in the least Min I've ever seen them. The first one lots of washing and the bad kind of ruts. Lots of dust, the guys put up with it. These roads a lot nicer the day after a nice rain.
It was the last of 3 weeks of Summer School, the '25-'26 school year starts right after Labor Day. There was another trip to the water park.....you already knew about the Como Zoo trip.
