Not a lot of blogging for the past while but we've been pretty busy. Was still driving bus up until the 19th, now in our 2nd week off. Peg and I spent last week in Clarksville (missed the Last Train) with Bri, Ben and one month old Lily. We drove home Saturday having spent a wonderful time with the kids, all 3 of them.
It was Easy Time....Ben's got 3 months of Paternity Leave so he and Bri are fortunate to have their time together. We ate well, we celebrated and enjoyed being lazy. Tennessee temperatures were easily in the 60's, making daily walks in their neighborhood almost mandatory.
We visited a huge Antique Mall.....
Even Grandma got to hold Lily .....
Just today (12/30) Lily had a doctor appointment.....five weeks old and doing well!
While we were south, Arthur waited for our return, determined that any minute.....
It wasn't all doom and despair however.....
Peg and I arrived home late Saturday afternoon, intentionally beating Sunday's weather.
Don't remember ever seeing anything like these radar images from the storm.....talk about Lake Effect!!
Over the last couple of weeks......
Greg and Steve were in Lansing for the Blackhawk Bridge demolition....perfect Steve!!
Lauren, Peg and I went for lunch in Nelson.....
Lunch with friends in River Falls.....
Just "Bob" isn't enough......the little fella has now earned "Bob the Beast"!
And finally one last photo of our young Lily after her doctor visit today.
Wishing us all good health and peaceful living in every one of the important ways in the New Year!!
