Not a single heated grip in the garage. I've toyed with the idea of getting the Wraps that for temporary use since I seldom ride enough to justify real, permanent powered grips. In addition, with my old, small machines care needs to be taken to not over tax the alternator output.
I've got an old Widder vest that works well but is bulky but my favorite is my Warm Bib sold by the folks up in Duluth. Uses only 35 watts, all of my (12volt) machines tolerate it and unless it's the middle of summer, it's small and convenient enough to always be in the tank bag......can feel very nice on a coolish, rainy day.
It may be cold, but look at that beautiful sunshine.
ReplyDeleteDo you have heated grips on the beast or were you just being a tough guy?

At may be chilly but at least there's no snow!
ReplyDeleteThere's no substantial snow, but if you look very closely just above my elbow's shadow, there is a small puddle of snow in the edge of the grass. ;)
DeleteI had just come up from the valley and in protected areas in the shadows, the puddles were deeper and more frequent.
Swwweeeet first photo!
ReplyDeleteI knew the camera would see it differently than my eyes were and it did.
DeleteThank you.
