In my Music class in Coimbatore , I have seen a bike similar to the one posted above. Your post would help people to try repairing their own bikes.VasanthMusicCoimbatorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13713530535434736895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6972915028116604677.post-26980109118952639772020-03-13T10:31:17.100-05:002020-03-13T10:31:17.100-05:00Thanks Andrea, I've actually got more than eno...Thanks Andrea, I've actually got more than enough confidence in the scooter's ability to go my distance. My first rides have gone well, now I can't wait for real Spring to get here.

I fully expect that this will be my ride to the local BMW Rally at the end of May.Coop a.k.a. I could imagine the difficulty in finding those front brake cables as well as the clutches. How the new belt drive mechanism stays for the long. Other band that I don't see any reason why it should not run another 45k. Happy riding, ride safe!Andrea Charleshttps://www.bloghasting.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6972915028116604677.post-83650671872820312512020-02-28T20:17:42.676-06:002020-02-28T20:17:42.676-06:00If there's a better way to make that point, I ...If there's a better way to make that point, I should learn it.Coop a.k.a. I'm confident in my ability, time spent and the minimal costs required for "Serviceable". Cleaning I could do more of but then once painting starts, powder coating, re-chroming, etc. etc. the this scooter and anything else I've touched would end up being worth 25% or less of Inputs. This one doesn't have to run another 45k miles. At my pace, if it gets me to a rally or two and lasts another 5k miles, it will have Met Expectations.

This is another one I stumbled upon that I saw some more life potential in. I had an '86 in much nicer, fresher shape and am now sorry that I let it go.

And, this a project size and scope within my ability.Coop a.k.a.
